In going through my backlog of magazines on the nightstand, I found this gem in a recent Skeptic (Volume 16, #2).
It's time to teach the controversy: (external link) Since creationism isn't going away, let's use it in the classroom to teach the difference between Science and Pseudoscience by Christopher Baum
Mr. Baum basically advocates what I have been pushing for over ten years now on my main site (Dealing with Creationism in Astronomy) and here - use the pseudosciences in the classroom as demonstrations of how science determines what hypotheses fail and why.
This site is the blogging component for my main site Crank Astronomy (formerly "Dealing with Creationism in Astronomy"). It will provide a more interactive component for discussion of the main site content. I will also use this blog to comment on work in progress for the main site, news events, and other pseudoscience-related issues.
